Clifton Library

The Clifton Library & Community Centre is situated in Meara Place, Clifton. Qld. On the first Wednesday of the month we have Story Time for pre-school aged children. Our gallery hosts regular exhibitions. A writers' group, photography group and various community organisations meet regularly in the community meeting rooms.

BOOK LAUNCH


Local author David Wellings will launch his first novel Rose City Blues in Warwick Sunday, July 30,11.00am at Warwick's Jumpers and Jazz Festival at Leslie Park (aproach from Guy Street)

David will also be at the Mary Ryan's Bookshop in Toowoomba on Saturday morning August 5, 2006 for book signing.

MEETING THE AUTHOR TONY PARSONS


On Friday 30th June, readers had the opportunity to meet with the best selling author Tony Parsons at the Clifton Library. Tony spoke about the process of writing his books and answered the many questions from the audience.

Tony's latest book "Valley of the White Gold" is proving popular with our readers and Tony has kindly donated two copies to the library.
